Bacteriostatic water

Bacteriostatic Water is a sterile, non‑pyrogenic water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in multi‑dose vials for repeated withdrawals under aseptic technique. The benzyl alcohol component inhibits bacterial growth in the solution, making it a preferred diluent for reconstituting peptides and other lyophilized research compounds that may be accessed multiple times over their in‑use period.
